  Location is great for the shopping and restaurants nearby. The NEC is only a short walk away past resort world. Parking is great and the lobby area seemed to be relatively clean.

  One room booked for a family of three. It was clean and comfortable and is a five minute walk to the NEC. It's also close to resort world with a shopping and restaurant area. Food in the restaurant is amazing. The breakfast was everything you would expect good quality and filling. It's close to the city centre and i would definitely would come back. The staff on reception were all friendly and knew the area really well for places to go.

  Stayed for one night to attend an event at the NEC. Room was spotless and had everything we needed including good quality branded tea and coffee making facilities, a decent sized tv and very good quality furnishing. Bathroom was spot on and the lake view from the bedroom was great.
  On arrival we were told we had be chosen as guest of the day which meant we were entitled to 35% off food and drinks , free parking and free breakfast. This absolutely made our day! We never win anything! What a great idea crowne plaza. Well done.
  Breakfast was lovely. Very good quality food , well prepared and the self service area was well maintained with food being removed and replenished with fresh stuff while we were getting ours. The food was fresh looking and not the usual dried edge rubbish you see on most hotel buffet breakfast warmers. Good selection of drinks , cereals and continental products as well , all clearly divided in to their own sections to make the whole experience very easy (as if the presence of a concierge who seats you and explains how it all works hadn't made it easy enough!).
  Altogether a very very enjoyable stay in a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff albeit only for one night. I will not use any other hotel when visiting the NEC now.
